A Baby in Mom’s Tummy

Birds ArtI am a baby in Mom’s tummy,

I wonder what the outside world will be.

I hear dad’s prayers for me daily,

I see his love for me as his baby,

I want to say: “Thank you, Daddy!”

I am a baby in Mom’s tummy.

I pretend that I understand their hopes for me.

I feel their biggest desire is for me to be healthy,

I touch my mom’s tummy to make her take it easy,

I worry when she has anxiety,

I cry to her quietly: “I am growing normally!”

I am a baby in Mom’s tummy.

I am a baby in Mom’s tummy.

I understand my job is to stretch, kick, and sleep,

I say for sure that is a baby’s responsibility.

I dream to be held on October 17,

I try to kick hard when Mom and Daddy try to feel me,

I hope that will make them happy.pregnant belly

I am a baby in Mom’s tummy.
